A Stay at Sparkling Hills Spa and Resort

Hey everyone!

I recently had a milestone birthday so as a treat we decided to go to this BEAUTIFUL resort. If you have not heard of it you need to check it out! Sparkling hills is located about 30 minutes from the Kelowna airport and around 15 minutes from Vernon, British Columbia, Canada.

When you walk into this place you are instantly greeted by massive Swarovski crystal chandeliers and a beautiful modern lobby. The staff was very friendly and explained what all was included in our stay.

Before we went down to check out the spa we headed to the Peak Fine restaurant for dinner and it was mouth watering! We had the prime rib special, cooked to perfection with mashed potatoes with a buttery clove taste and roasted beats with collard greens. We followed it with the chefs cheesecake for dessert with a mix of berries on-top. While we enjoyed this amazing dinner we gazed out at the beautiful Okanagan Lake, taking in all of our surroundings.

After our delicious dinner we headed to our room to get ready for the spa. There are literally crystals in everything in this place... your doors, mirrors, the lights, fireplaces. It’s endless. I was not able to take any pictures in the spa and no cameras are allowed. But they have 4 amazing aromatherapy steam rooms, each different temperatures and different crystal features in them. There are 4 saunas all ranging in different temperatures as well and different themes. And one of our favourite rooms is the cold room I believe it sits around 0 degrees, has ice on the walls and a delightful eucalyptus and minty scent. SO refreshing. After enjoying all of those we made our way out to the 2 pools and hot tub, one pool is indoor and one is outdoor. The outdoor pool is a huge infinity pool overlooking Okanagan Lake, it was so nice and warm.
