He is his own picasso - a real life story

in #life6 years ago

Poverty could not stop this boy to follow his passion. He is not educated, but he paints extremely well. Discovered him, at my place, and He is not very talkative. But I was impressed with the skills he has. Right now he is able to sell his paintings for few rupees, to make his living but I am sure, one day he will see the path of success. Sitting in his house ( or better call it a hut) , enjoying the real happiness in his work.

Thanks @sanmi for this. From your post, you obviously met this guy. It would be lovely if you could share some of your bounty with him! Or possibly help educate him to a point where he can begin to sell his arts in very profitable environment, possible steemit. I don't mind donating whatever curation or comment rewards I get from this post to him, but how will it get to him though? Kindly help shed more light on that, if this is possible.
Thanks

Ya, I am going next time with some thing for him. Whatever I ask him he just laughs, totally not talkative, but I am sure, we will make some arrangements.

That will be great! Will send my donation once this post clears. I believe a community like these should take upon itself, the burden of how we can begin to change the world around us one Act of Random Kindness (ARK) at a time. Thanks once again for this post.

Agreed @delphia16, well said!

Maybe just give him the SBD from this post - just suggesting, if you'll agree todo that I'll upvote 100%, send us more picture of this guy or even picture with you giving him something perhaps? Will also ask my Steemians friends and followers to come check this out.

You can always edit your post to state what you will give to him, so it's recorded in the blockchain.

I'm be over 95% VP in 12hours time, I will come back and vote then.

Giving one guy does not solve the problem, and if you see my history, I have given a lot to this community in form of the caption contest. The contest features mostly original photographs of arts from my place from artists like this. And there are many artists. So we are thinking of a way to bring them here, so that we can reward them repeatedly to at least be able to utilize that.

I suggested this to my mentor @sanjeevm , who brought me here, to create a fork of busy or utopian and create a front end that would be in our native language. So that way, we will be able to take it to the local community. And we have a great artist with us @prabalmallick, who has also provided willingness to encourage and bring the artists to this platform, so that we could reward them repeatedly. Doing it just once, does not end our responsibility.

A lot to do, and I am not technical, but together we can build something for the society, I believe. In the short run, he is looking to translate busy to our native language Odia, as that will be fastest.

Currently we run a charity bot @thehumanbot to reward new steemians who write original content. So we can use that as well, to reward them.

Blockchains empower anyone who has enough merit to warrant rewards from the humans behind the nodes😊

This is what I like about Steemit, it brings out the angel in us just like you making a short story about that talented boy that we hope he is well in the future. It lets us express the creativity in our own way to appreciate other people in different situations without boundaries. Keep it up you are making the Steemit community proud of what you are doing :) Have a good one!

Keep up the good work - glad to see you so engaged in community.

Glad to see you here on my posts - LOL, Always thank you from my heart to bring me here.

You never can tell the extent of your help now until much later in life, bro. I adore you. You just gave him life and hope. God bless you. Wish we have a million of you our there.

There should be an art gallery of sorts in steemit to bring art pieces of hiddden talents for auctioning. A way to bypass the politically muddled exhibition landscapes, and greedy art-dealers.

  • Dop£ Art, really aspiring keep the art coming he will make it,

He is a real rising star.....god bless him

He has potential and needed to be supported, no doubt he will soon be out of poverty if he gets support. I follow and upvote, do same to me.
