Lifes a Beach - So I like to Skate

Holidays are Over!

Today is officially the last day of this round of school holidays so my oldest and I decided to hit the beach pathway with her bike and my skateboard and take in a beautiful day of the Gold Coast.

There is a pathway that snakes its way along the coast line, hugging the beach, and provides some fantastic scenery whilst you are doing some mild exercise. Beware though, there are many crazy tourists on electric motorised scooters that are legally allowed to ride along the pathway as well and many of them have no idea of speed or safety!

Along the way there are a few relics of the Commonwealth Games to be found in the form of Borobi, the mascot, statues. He is depicted doing some popular beachy Gold Coast things.

What a great day to spend the last day of the school holidays. I hope you had a relaxing day as well whereever you are in the world.
