The Power Of A Mushroom
I hope you feel as powerful as this mushroom today! I know... I don't usually think of a mushroom being strong or powerful either but this mushroom changed my mind. It was growing down the street from my house and my wife @athompsoncpa and I saw it on a recent walk. It pushed up through the asphalt in order to grow. This was not a crack in the road where it grew, it actually created it's own crack. That's pretty darn strong for a little mushroom!
This mushroom impressed me enough to post about it... It made me think about how amazing life is. So yeah, I hope you feel as powerful as this mushroom!

OK, Finally had time to watch that Ted Talk, WOW! That was crazy but makes so much sense. He even mentioned asphalt breaking mushrooms hahaha! Going to watch that one again later... Cheers!
Yup! I thought you'd enjoy it. The part about the petrochemical waste was really incredible too. Imagine turning a bunch of mushrooms loose on the next oil spill and having it cleaned up in a way that makes a healthy food harvest! Talk about a game changer...

Scott that is some power. I have been having some mushrooms in my garden and even though the soil is not asphalt I was thinking they are strong. It is amazing to think it could push its way through asphalt. wow.
Indeed! It tripped me out when I first realized what I was looking at. I had no idea that could happen. A squirrel or something ate most of it now so I guess it wasn't really that strong, lol.
I wish I had those powers!

Hahaha! It now looks as though a squirrel or something ate it. I'll keep my eye out for a wide-eyed squirrel acting funny...

Everything had their own strength, it depends on their nature, they are strong in different way. Just like the mushroom you shared with us, strong in surviving,. I am impressed not only by the mushroom but also your motivation, keep on going!!!
