Futuristic Children Reading @senseicat
I imagine that this is how our children will become in the future due to growing up in such a high tech environment.
Some of the children are being raised with devices as soon as they can grasp one in their tiny hands.
When I am learning something new on my cell phone, my son steps in and starts exploring until he figures out how to accomplish it impressively quick.
Our kids are learning to problem solve and become young techies, so I wonder if they will think reading a book is ancient at some point in their lives?
Though becoming techies is good for kids yet the tradition of reading books is so beautiful. I would love this tradition to remain as such and we don't lose it in the dust of time.
I completely agree with you that there are advantageous, but soon I wonder if reading will be considered old fashioned when they receive so much information digitally now.

Let the child learn to solve the problems that arise in his life. Parents just facilitate and will provide assistance if the child is really unable to solve the problem. Parents are demanded to be more active and intelligent so that children get the proper direction of information that floods them every day. Though If silenced for too long with this sophisticated object, the child will become inactive and experiencing slow motor development.
Actually in these times it is difficult to believe that children are more interested in a book than a device. But the literacy must be reformed with books, from very young, since it is the basis for their education!
