SOS: Please Bring Chocolate

Simply put, there is never enough
chocolate to offset the fatigue
of errands. Being a taxi for children
was never on my bucket list,
but you can find me during
every between in a mom van
ferrying precious life to or from
school or lessons or parties or,
as earlier today, on dates.
Mommy dates. One-on-one
with me requires leaving and
returning and stopping
somewhere in between.

Today it included a grocery
store where I forgot both
chocolate and coffee. So,
if you are looking for me
between the between times,
be sure to pull back blankets
and open closet doors. And,
if you would be so kind,
bring chocolate.
