fevers break every jungle day
Merry Christmas, Papa Pants bringing home
boxed gloves protect predator and prey.

Soft place to land? Reindeer on tap?
The refrain: Nope, nope, nope.

Wipe the blood from lips split
bathe in ice away from the snake
call the Father on His false modesty
and unbox the gloves, girl. Wear them.
