The Mind and The Man

Take away the mind from a man and a man will be like an empty container holding nothing of value. A man's mind is the man himself, the sum of his actions and inaction are product of what the mind has accumulated. As the saying "just like a man thinketh in his heart , so is he" and Whatever a man ever becomes is in exact ratio to what his mind has accommodated, whether good or bad.

The easiest way to conquer a man is to get through his thoughts and alter his mindset and once his mindset has been altered, then he works with his new found pattern vulnerable to it consequence. Most movies, music, newspaper, culture and tradition, academic institution etc has a way of building a mindset into use toward certain beliefs usually adopted by their knowledge and experience on a subject. To some extent they have all affected us both negatively and positively, because they give us little room to make out mindset for ourselves instead they expect us to go with their found ideas.

Our mind is the most delicate organ to guide, once it's corrupted with bad ideology, the man is inevitably corrupted and once it's made alive with the truth, the man is made truth. And this is the reason why most persons are careful with what to teach a child , because he grows up to be what he has heard.

If we could ever be great, if we could ever be who we want to be, if we could ever fulfil destiny and make impact in life as well as to the life of others ,then our mind must be shape with the right thoughts and ideas. Only a mind shaped in things with virtue can attain whatever level he wishes to reach in life.

No one became a thug, thief, prostitute, assassin, rebel etc from birth, there was a transformation that happened to that man and it all started with a thought, idea and perspective acquired from either movies, music or discussion ,which ate the man so deep until he became what his mind has accommodated.

If you ever want to be great in life, guide your heart from evil thoughts, if you ever want to go far in life, sieve away every unbelief , if you want to grow into exercising the natural man in you, blunt every rumour and think on things that have virtues.

Finally, let's train up our children, the future leaders the way they should go, that when they become old, they wouldn't depart from it. Let's mould their mindset early with virtues things that they could bring a change to the world. We are our minds and whatever we think, if you ever want to know how you think, look at the product of your actions because you can never be anything outside your mindset.

Have a positive mind to be a positive man.
