had someone bring up the point that crypto is gonna kill the fiat currency, and i shared my point on this topic, yet it stands on it's own too, so here you get it :D

reality is: i don't have to use or do anything.
fiat currency is just a tool, cryptocurrency is just a tool too. they are BOTH digital, imaginary numbers with imaginary "trust" with people giving them value over life. this value is based on just that, multiple person's decisions and interactions. NOT what, or who they are, or what they believe, or any of their intrinsic beingness.
and as with any tool, we can use it in many ways with different consequences/results. hit a hammer on a nail creates unity, hit a hammer on a nut it creates seperation. it only depends on how we use it.
the currenty situation is only a direct relation to the beliefs and actions of the people in the past and their continual decisions to use the current fiat currency tool, they way they did.
this is not the only way to use this tool.
so we didn't need different tools to create a different result.
of course every tool has a limitation in what it can do, yet with a bit of creativity and upgrade one tool (simple stone) can become a widely useful item(knife, hammer, axe, brick, road, computer, spacerocket) all from the same original tool, didn't need a plastic instead of it to make all that from the stone. simple. actually using plastic and stone is a combination that limits the usage in MOST cases, and only good for a couple things.
getting back to the original point, no, bitcoin or altcoins will not save any economy or human on earth from the consequences of the majority's attitudes and decisions. just slightly changes the result. very small amount. 3-5%. and that is a statistical error in the scale of things...
so instead i put my energy and time towards using what we have and upgrading it and teaching any and all who are willing on how to change the attitude, view, therefore the culture of man, so the situation changes as a reflection of a changed humankind.
