After my dog got attacked by a group of aggressive dogs at the dog playground, she has got a serious injury at her knees and we needed an operation otherwise she will be a disable dog for her whole life.

This situation really hurts me a lot...

As a selfemployed, i am 24 hours a day with her, for me she is my baby...a family member and more.

We contacted a friend who worked 20 years as an assistant in an animal hospital and asked for help. She sent us to the best doctor in this region...a spacialis for ‚tore cruciate‘.

After the diagnosis, it was very clear that the injury was too bad and my dog needed a very complicated 4 hours operation. They removed her destroyed knee and built it all over new in the alternate position with titanium and this will give her a chance to be able to walk and run again in the future.

Yesterday was the operation, there were 3 doctors working on this case and they could successfully created a new knee for her, everything went well.

In the next 14 days, we have to be very careful because every wrong move can damage the new knee and if that happens, we will not be able to repair it again.

After the 2 weeks period, the therapy will start, my dog has to slowly learn how to use her new knee and she is not allowed to move fast or run in the next 3-4 months.

Because of the pain, she was crying loudly the whole night and it will be this way at least one week...it’s a hard time for us both but we will stay together and make it through... in good times and in bad times...
