it's a friend who always takes us to the place that makes us smile .. you look at the tower and see the lights change, I will ask friends, what happens every day. Good story

Such a great way to show how we can be blind to the things around us when we are going through the motions of our day-to-day. This guy spends day after day up there and never ever notices the regularity of the lights changing. There is beauty all around us and secrets to be found. You just need to keep your eyes open.
Yes - I always try to be as mindful about what I do as possible, especially as a photographer I notice minor changes in my environment easily, but it's sooo easy to just 'accept' our surroundings as a give and stop noticing. Evolutionary this makes sense, or we would be in fight or flight mode constantly, but well, if we start to ignore the beauty around us life becomes dull :-)

YES! I DID! Hahaha. I went back the second time I visited New York and went back to the Rockefeller, both for the amazing views and the hope he was there! Just when I was leaving he started his shift and I told him I came back for him. He loved it! I heard him say to colleagues 'they never come back for me'... I wish I could contact him and share my story with him :D
