You had me at 'White Beans'

Seems most foods that contain protein contains quality iron as well.
Especially white beans.

Wonderful, I've been a vegetarian for 34 years, and still this list is a wonderful reminder... I rarely do the white beans.. My go to bean is sprouting mung beans just overnight barely growing that's when they are sweetest most alive... they turn bitter when left to grow too long, high in iron. I seriously notice if I take a week off of them..

Do you have any data to back these up? I mean some clinical data or even references ? ? Say like if you eat cup full of white beans how much of iron would you get ( as % of your daily iron requirement)
