If you worked for a company that offered the convenience of a microchip implanted in your hand, would you get it? A company in Wisconsin is going with the trend: “It’s the next thing that’s inevitably going to happen, and we want to be a part of it.”
RIVER FALLS, Wisc. – A company in Wisconsin is about to become the first in the US to offer microchip implants to its employees.
“It’s the next thing that’s inevitably going to happen, and we want to be a part of it,” Three Square Market Chief Executive Officer Todd Westby told KTSP.
The company designs software for electronic break room markets, are commonly found in office complexes.

A few questions I have already been pondering:
Prophecy being fulfilled? I would like to know your thoughts and the thoughts of this community on what this means, how it will affect our society as a whole and how using cryptocurrency and steem when this microchip becomes mandatory in order to buy and sell? If this chips becomes mandatory, will we be FORCED to get micro-chipped in order to use our steem? If the internet gets banned for the average user, will we be forced to rely on artificial intelligence to get access to knowledge? Is this part of the plans for Agenda 21 and the latest agenda 30? What can we do as a society and a member of the human race to prepare ourselves now to survive in a society that is all about control, power and greed?
Good questions; I would like the answers as well. I grew up being taught the scriptures that describe receiving a mark in the right hand or forehead without which people could neither buy nor sell...

This is the beginning of becoming cyborg. The chip automates a human action: unlock door. The potential is unlimited in all directions. This is scary but possibly the only way to help humans compete with the coming robots. I think it will be ok as long as we have choice, otherwise we are being treated no better than robots.

It was only a matter of time. First it lets you in and out of the building and what is next, use it as your timecard for payroll? They say it doesn't have GPS but I am sure there is a way to track the device. Sci-Fi meets reality!
RFID (Radio Frequency IDentification) tags have a very short range on them, and need a reader device to be pretty close to acccess any information on them. They can even be encrypted to prevent most types of hacking.

Every new technology is a double edged sword. There is certainly the potential for abuse, and people are going to be skeptical because they have connected microchips to something in a book written thousands of years ago by men who couldn't possibly have seen this coming, but I'm all for it!
RFID tags are a way to make life a lot simpler for a lot of people. Medical records can now be kept with a person at all times. In case of an emergency, a doctor or EMT could quickly assess a patient and make snap decisions that could save lives, and that's just one of the MANY applications!
They would literally have to kill me before I would be willing to do this.
That is pretty much all I have to say about it.
