My baby girl is growing

Hi Steemit family,

I am just posting a few shots of my daughter Emma, simply because I love her and am proud of her. She is going to be in grade 6 soon, and I looked at her today and reminisced about when she was a baby.

There was a time when she was young that she barely spoke English to me. Her day-care school is in Japanese, and had a major influence on her language. Fortunately there was a switch that went off in her head and she spoke both languages fluently from the age of 4.

I love this photo cause she is so cute in her summer kimono, and she seems to be very busy talking on the 'phone'.

This photo is from the time her big brother was in a play in Nagoya, and two of the supporting cast wanted photos with us. The guy holding Emma is actually @malcontent , one of my close friends and also a Steemit poster.

I was shocked at this huge bubble she made. I can't remember if it went all over her face after. Haha.

Its a chore to get Emma to do LARP with me, but she has taken roles and is probably one of the youngest LARPers ever. Her first role was when she was 9 years old.

I think Emma looks at me as if I can do anything. She was so excited about going to the game center and had planned it for nearly a week. She wanted me to win her a dog in the "crane" game. Fortunately it only took 4 times before we won this one.

All children are precious, and I am blessed to have 2 healthy and happy kids. While life may be difficult with unexpected drama and heartbreak, my two children are my rock and anchor for keeping life balanced. I love them more than they can ever imagine.
