Railway station of Inza

In 1898 a railway line was built, connecting Simbirsk
with a branch Ruzaevka -Baraki. It was then that the brick building of the railway station st. Inza. In the first years in the station settlement there were only 8 courtyards, later construction began and the station merged with the neighboring settlements.
Today it is a large junction freight and passenger railway station of the Kuibyshev Railway on the Moscow-Samara branch

The building of the railway station in Inza is a historical and cultural monument of regional significance. This building was put on state protection by the Decision of the Executive Committee of the Regional Council in 1957.

Already in 1946, Inze was granted the status of a city, because this town received its development thanks to the railway, this monument eloquently speaks.

Indeed, Inza is a city born of a railway.

Today Inza is the most important railway junction.
