new plants for the garden

two weeks ago we bought this butterfly pergola because our garden is facing south -east , and to keep the house a bit cooler i came up with this.
yes you can buy "party tents" but they keep hot air in it and they ain't high enough for the door to open door is +/- 250cm high and 90cm wide.

the highest point of the pergola is 290cm the lowest corner is 209 cm.

since we don't have the option to secure the pergola to the floor i came up with this idea to use big flower pots as an anchor :)
so far they keep the pergola very well in place :)

the anchors contain 40 liter potting soil each [ 10 gallon ]

next we will probably buy some bark to get a higher ph value of the ground so that we might be able to plant some nice azaleas :)
