3-D metal printing technology
You might have heard a lot about 3-D printing or even experienced it yourself but 3-D metal printing is a new technology which is taking shape.
3-D is affordable and has been around for more than a decade now but metal printing has been very slow and expense at the same time.
However with more advancements in this technology now it is becoming easy and there is a way of manufacturing parts practically.
It has the potential to change the way we mass products if it becomes widely acceptable.

This technology can create much lighter, stronger, long lasting and complex products that would have been impossible via metal fabrication methods.
There are a few companies at the moment which are doing 3-D metal printing but on a smaller scale.
The products they produce still cost tens of thousands and are therefore not affordable.
I believe within the next few years this technology will be widely used and the costs will also decrease dramatically.
This technology is still known to a few and there are only around 3-4 companies using it at the moment (not sure though).
