As A Student Council

Like a country, there are leaders to guide the citizens. These leaders are either brought to their positions due to bloodlines or elections.
In our country, Philippines, democratic ways run the government. This caused some schools to make organizations that develop the democratic ideas of the students. One of these organizations is the student council.
I became part of our student council last school year. As a student council officer, I need to memorize the rules of the school that are divided into different sections and classifications. We should know all the offenses that are greatly punished by the school protocols to serve the rightfulness to the students.
Also, we should contribute to the community extensions or areas where our school is helping foreign people in different aspects. We came to an orphanage once and donated children christmas lights and sweets.
The student council balance the lawfulness and naughtiness of the students by implementations of the school's codes. Hopefully, student council can devour completely the things that students do that are not justified by laws so that we, the students, can grow democratically with perfect ideas of fairness and justice.

Such Students councils are important in nurturing future leaders, those who are conscious about democracy and truly love their nation. Political Values that we later cherish in life actually start to be formed from such Councils. I am glad you are part of it.
