Shah Rukh's character will play Rajat Tokas, remake of 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham', 17 years later

In 2001, Karan Johar directed Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Kajol and Kareena Kapoor in this multi-star film directed by Karan Johar. It is reported that the small screen queen Ekta Kapoor has decided to make the film as a serial. Ekta has tweeted about this and confirmed that the show will be on Sony.
The name of this show will be 'Dil hi ta hai'. The star cast of this serial has also been decided. Bijoy Anand, who made Kajol's fiancé, was selected for the role of Amitabh Bachchan's Yashvardhan Raichand in the serial in the movie 'Pyaar Toi Hain Hi'.
The show of Erika Fernandes of the TV show 'Rang Pyaar Ke Rahi Ke' too has not been decided but she can play Anjali, which is Kajol or her younger sister Pooja, or Kareena Kapoor. Some decisions will be made after testing their look.
Rajat Tokas with Jodha Akbar serial has been approached for Rahul Raichand's Shah Rukh Khan role, while Varun Sood was played by Rithik Roshan for his younger brother Rohan. Ekta Kapoor's show will start after two months.
