The pursuit of perfection
Barriers to success sometimes lie in perfection. There is no one who meets the notion of "utterly perfect", but we are actually striving more and more for that. Perfection in the home, in the preparation of dinner, in raising children, in the careers, etc. What happens most often? ... a slight step aside, then a second, and we take it as a big failure - simply because it is not perfect.
