Playing poker in the poker capital of the world during the WSOP. Had a fun day going out to play some poker earlier in the day. Planning on meeting some blockchain people later during the day. Stopping out to eat on the way. Meeting them later at Caesars Palace.

Meeting with some blockchain people to talk about possibilities of some events later this month. So more details on that later. Then heading back to my place so someone could drop off their bags. Let us know if you want to come drop off your bags and visit and hangout too! :P

Later going out to play poker was talking about playing Pot Limit Hold Em which is my game of choice usually. Many places had long waiting lists being late at night. Suggested the Harrah's. But the person I was with was noting how many steps they had walked so far today at thousands and thousands of steps! So we we ended up walking a little less and heading back to Caesars Palace where we played so No Limit Hold Em.

During the session there last night I had flopped two sets which are great with a high chance of winning!

One hand I flopped a set of sevens versus their pair of Jacks with a Queen high board. So I was in great shape! Of course we don't know this until the end. With a set I know I am a big favorite most of the time having three of a kind known as trips. Which is the type of strong(er) hand you want to wait for to bet more against your opponents. My opponent bet a good size bet on the flop which I had called not wanting to show the strength of my hand just yet. Then there was another Queen on the turn. This gave me a full house! They again bet and this time I raised wanting to get more value in. They called my bet then there was another Queen on the river! They checked and I didn't know what to do! Could bet but they may have a better hand than me at this point with a runner runner counterfeit of my full house. So I checked back and they turned over a pair of Jacks with Queens full of Jacks costing me about half of my chips!

Later that night I flopped another set this time being eights. Bet my hand on the flop and turn, getting called with all our chips getting in by the turn. Turning over my set with my opponent revealing Aces. Was looking good but then an Ace came on the river. Then the dealer gave the rest of my chips away! How nice of her! Then it was time to call it quits for the night since I had no chips left. Will try again another day! Will check out the tables today and see where to play to try to get some of those chips back from someone! :)

Best,
