A walk into Grasmere for some gingerbread!

As it wasn’t such a sunny day we decided to walk into Grasmere and get some famous gingerbread. The shop is TINY and smells amazing ! Hidden away in a beautiful little corner of Grasmere surrounded by all the amazing mountains you can find this amazing shop.

We tend to go everytime we come to the lakes and it’s definitely worth it ! The gingerbread lives up to its reputation!

You can buy lots of ginger based goodies from the shop and it attracts people from all over ! Sometimes there are queues just to get in, although the shop can probably only hold 5 people at once anyway!

We got some to eat there and then and then some to take home to last as long as we can make it Hahaha !!

After the gingerbread we went into this jigsaw shop, I don’t think we white imagined there to be THAT many in one shop but oh my gosh there were thousands !! The shop just didn’t seem to end! There were so many options to choose from! It was amazing !!

There was even one with 40,000 + pieces, we don’t even have room to do a jigsaw that big!! I can’t imagine how long it would have taken either !
