“I don't like my current job, but I don’t dare to resign,” my colleague, Jane complained.

Jane was my colleague last year. She worked in a media department, graduated more than a year, and live together with her parents, so she doesn’t need to worry about the rent and living expenses.

Because she likes photography, she borrowed money to buy a camera, plans to resign after clearing the debt.

The plan will never catch up with the change, because of the customer unreasonable request, she rage quit her job.

After resigned, she went on a trip, and treat it as a new beginning of her life. After the trip, it was summer, plus after a break for a while, she was lazy to go to work.

In the end, she went to a travel company and worked as a travel editor.

Seeing her doing well in the travel company, she thought she could do a little longer. However, after four months, she resigned again, because the company believes that her job prospects are not very good, wanted to merge with other department positions.

So, she started to find a job again.

Soon, she found a new sales position, considering the work environment and wages, without much hesitation, she took the job.

One day, she complained to me, "I don't like my job at all." and I suggested, "If you really don’t like it, then quit and find a job that you like." She said bluntly, "I don’t dare to resign. Because I have rent to pay."

After graduation, Jane live together with her parents, so she doesn’t have to pay rent, sometimes, she can solve her daily meals at home, pay enough to her own expenses and can buy anything she likes.

When her parents plan to go back hometown, she need to bear the rent, she then only felt that her salary is pitiful.

And she used to spend money without a plan, without savings, she has depended on the monthly wage to survive.

Like Jane, there are many people who don’t dare to resign because of rent and living expenses.

When still studying, parents will give us money on time every month, even if not enough, parents will give us more, and gradually formed a bad habit of spending.

After start working, we need to start to be responsible for our own expenses. Some people even overspending at the beginning of the month, so started to apply for credit cards, with the "fix wall by breaking wall" method, become a bad cycle, and the quality of life is not as good as during studying.
