Xfce has a reputation for being simple, yet powerful desktop environment & choice of many users world wide.

Many distributions provide their spins of xfce. Debian also provides xfce flavour, but without any modifications. Xebian fills the gap by customizing the xfce with numix icon pack & dark theme.


Xebian User Interface

Xebian is based on debian sid (unstable) so, it is a rolling distro. non-free & contrib repos are enabled by default. The iso is approximately 1GB size. Both 32bit & 64bit variants are available.

I tried xebian, It is amazing! Very stable, sleek & loaded with all essential apps. If you are not satisfied with Xubuntu or a newbie looking to switch to debian, Xebian is worth a try. Download from www.xebian.org
