4. Feel grateful and satisfied

Make a list of ten things that you can be grateful for today. It feels like an absurd task - until you start with it.

Write down both the big and the small things. You may be grateful that you are alive and that you are healthy. But also for the tasty cup of tea, the fine music or the birds in the garden.

Try to really experience the feeling of gratitude. Do not just make an intellectual sum of it. But really feel grateful when you write it down.

And even more challenging: feel grateful for your problems. Imagine that your problems have positive results...

Good and bad are always relative.

You can see things that you consider to be undesirable as desirable. You can even feel grateful for it.

When you feel grateful, you are equally satisfied. And if you feel satisfied, then life is just as good as it is. Then you do not have to change anything. Then you feel wonderful.

And that wonderful feeling is exactly what you can use now. And do you know what's nice? You can do this exercise every day, even several times a day. You do not even have to write it down. You can feel grateful while waiting for the tram.

Anyway, much more effective than checking Facebook!
