What will my children be when they grow up?

They have noticed that children do not wonder about what they will be like when they grow up until we think about it.

The expectation of the future, which obviously should be better than ours, where they do everything well and in time, with the excuse that our children should not go through what we have gone through. How hard was our life really?

As it turns out that we really spent our lives generating an expectation in our children about the vicious circle where they wanted us to have a better future and we hope for the same future, instead of allowing them to enjoy the present, so did our parents, and it turns out that ends up in one of our children.
Looking at it in perspective, none of us have ever been satisfied with our lives, because we are always waiting for something better, and letting our children know that our lives are not good enough.
And what if our son does not decide to become a doctor or engineer, if as Marta Palmas says in his publication of 27-09-2017 "Doctors and Engineers are not the only ones in the world happy", and decides to be a painter or chef, perhaps our children do not deserve to be truly full, or we also want a life programmed for them, and so when they have their family they also expect their children (our grandchildren) to be something better than them.

It must be quite sad for a father to hear that a son tells his grandson that when he grows up he should be much better than him, we would be telling him that he has failed as a father and that we are not even remotely happy with what we are, and that we will not risk it to our children living a life like ours.

As he says, "my great-grandfather studied war so that my grandfather studied politics, my father could study business and I studied poetry" ...
Let our children do what fulfills them as human beings and break that cycle of dissatisfaction because happiness is not given by status or money ...
