longexposurephotography - Sunset with clouds

Last Autumn i experimented a lot with longtime exposure photography and my Lee Filters, this is a type of photography where i can really relax and enjoy the making of pictures because you really need to wait for several seconds till several minutes to just create one picture. Everything moving, like clouds people, lights are smoothing out on the picture and creating an interesting effect. I like longtime exposure shots in the city or with moving water very much but clouds are also pretty nice like in this example. Depending on the wind you'll see nice moving clouds like in this picture. But 10 Minutes of Exposure time is pretty long for one picture.

And the cool thing with these longtime exposure shots in the evening or at sunset like in this example is that the light changes every view minutes and you'll get a completely different image from the picture you did just minutes before. And if you did something wrong you're probably done and won't get the image you wish for because the light changese so fast that you can't repeat a ten minute exposure with the same light conditions.
