In my last post I talked about how Steemit is not steem and that this is a decentralized blockchain. The recent events prove that more than ever before!

What I also want to point out to people is that the Steem blockchain is so much more active than anyone truly realizes.

Just think about it...

Pretty much from day 1 as an author here on Steem, you can join up with a community and use certain hashtags/interfaces and get instant engagement on your posts.

You can sign up for contests and even invest a little bit of money into your Steem account by powering up and boom: you're already making money for your blog.

This is UNHEARD of and it's so underrated on Steem.

Nowhere else can it be such a straightforward process to monetizing your passion for writing or making videos or what-not.

Steem is so powerful and it's easy to overlook. There is a bit of a learning curve, but once you have the basics of how Steem works economically, anything is possible!
