One of the most overlooked parts of building the life you want to live by chasing after the building of a personal brand is the audience building portion of it all.

So many people think that the hard part of building a personal brand is trying to make money and support yourself with your brand.

In fact, that is the easiest part of it all.

The hard part is trying to build an audience from scratch.

The more time that has passed, the harder it has become to build an audience because of the saturation in the marketplace.

There are simply so many people with the desire to build a personal brand these days.

You can't really blame anyone though, it's a desirable thing to have --> a personal brand that allows you to do what you love and play the ultra long game.

But when it comes to building a personal brand, I believe now is the easiest time than ever before.

Why?

Because of Steem.

Steem allows you to find a place. A niche. A community.

Steem allows you to build brand out of nothing. Simply by showing up each day and putting in massive amounts of effort.

The Steem blockchain is a very unique community.

It's still in its infancy and that means that the potential growth for a personal brand is huge here on Steem.

The next steps are up to you:

Build your audience by doing what you love and putting massive effort behind what you do.

The monetization of it is easy and comes later down the road. Focus on building attention and the money will follow easy enough.
