Bank on Hope
He tells me I shouldn't always assume the worst and act accordingly in a city where hope is just a bank, and not something you should bank on. And he may be made just for me, but you gotta be careful what you wish for, because it's never how you think it will be. We are to each other what we need in ourselves. Resistant to feeling needy, I find myself in a position to need him. Life tries so hard to be funny, but it's just not.
