Where I Stand

A city built on delsions of grandeur, I came here with a simple fantasy. Looking down from this perspective you can see all the side streets that can rob you of your best intentions as you get lost in its vast all consuming life. So many opportunities to take a wrong turn, you just have to hope you come out the other side still human, in a city where hope is just a bank. I came with a simple wish on my lips, an antidote to this city poison.
