The Rise Of The Right - England - World Cup - Russia
A thought hit my like a brick last night and again this morning.
I've loved football all of my life.
I was blessed with the ability to play for teams from school into adulthood.
It is a beautiful game.
Today England will be represented by a team of culturally diverse young men, average age 25!
In a squad of 23 men plus coaching and supporting staff it's fair to assume some of those men will be gay.
I'm watching the game with two men I love. One is my son, the other is a friend of over 30 years standing.
I'm not gay, but I love both men.
If England win this #WorldCup or go along way into the tournament, the victory will power the right wing.
It's a win - lose.
Trump is still rising!
Farage is still given air time!
Today it's the immigrants,
Tomorrow it could be the gays.
Sad no matter how to you look at it.
CMON England!
