WHAT TO NAME OUR BABY

Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5 Part 6 Part 7 Part 8 Part 9 Part 10 Birthday Intermission Part 11 Part 12 Part 13 Part 14 Part 15 Part 16 Part 17 Part 18 Part 19 Part 20 Intermission No. 2 Part 21 Part 22 Part 23 Part 24 Part 25 Part 26 Part 27 Part 28 Part 29

Interestingly enough, I don’t remember this one particular part of the story all that well.  I guess it’s because it was so naturally spontaneous, so in flow, so “duh!”,  that it wasn’t like a revelation or an astounding surprise.   I felt calm fireworks of delight inside when Quinn first called “Our Baby” the Garden of Eden.

I supplied the host,
he planted the seed,
and together we gave birth,
dedicating our focus, time and loving energy into nurturing its being into thrival.

Maybe Quinn had some serious thoughts about what to call this manifestation of his vision, but I don’t recall discussing a name with him, it for me is as if it always was!    Regardless of whether or not he had other ideas of what to call it - the Garden of Eden for me was, and proved itself to be, the perfect fit.

I believe it was when we began inviting our local friends and community to be a part of creating the gardens, and hosting meet-ups, that he first posted the location as the Garden of Eden.  It’s also fitting that the exit off the highway to our home is Eden Road, and the turn to get here is Eden Tap.

I suppose everyone has their ideas of what the Garden of Eden means, but I imagine some would agree that it is generally portrayed as a space of love, attunement with the purity of nature, serenity, peace, teaching, healing, the expression of liberty, and the freewill opportunity for embracing the dichotomy of good and evil.

As Our Baby grew, we got to witness and/or experience all of that, as well as the contrast of what needs to be released to move into that space.  A dynamically rich, eye opening and heart opening journey.

Giving birth, even with all of the physical energy and personal questioning that it required, was the easy part!

The Garden of Eden is often referred to as a physical location.  I am incredibly grateful that Quinn holds steady with the constant reminder that the true essence of the “Garden of Eden” is actually not on the outside, but exemplified by the love we carry within.

Go with me on the journey toward Unconditional Love!

I think it's poetic, hilarious, and PERFECT to be called The Garden of Eden - it's a garden off of Eden Road, so logical! 😂 Plus it's a challenge to preconceived notions, ideas, and expectations. AND it's a new paradigm paradise!

Hell Yeah!!!!! All of that and more!!! Grateful beyond measure--thank you @quinneaker.

What a riot, that it is even off Eden Road. Synchronicity.

Divine alignment!

What a name, what a garden, what a location and an objective.

Looking at the meaning of garden of Eden from the Bible, it's a place where man enjoy the beauty of true freedom as offered by God himself.

It's amazing how the ideals here are in such alignment with the greatness shared in the bible. Love is the answer!

No grudges, rivalry or competition when love is involved.

Real true love--not so in the pseudo love we have often been aware of! So grateful to know it!
