Can we love as in Russian novel?

in #love6 years ago (edited)

Two of the greatest writers of Russian literature from the far (and not so far) 19th century without a shadow of hesitation are Pushkin and Turgenev. One - a connoisseur of female beauty - a man who fearlessly allows women to give and drop their hearts on him, and then fleeing and looking for a stash from the previous one in the next. And Turgenev - a man who lives, yearns, breathes in and breathes out only pure and crystal love. A man who can get hurt to the bottom and suffer every love moan ... Pushkin's emblem is "Eugene Onegin," and "Asya" is one of Turgenev's most tender and painful love novels. In the special and casual times we live in, we can not help asking ... yes, it is awkward and endlessly embarrassing, but ... can we still love it today? Why are we lost somewhere between false pride, smartphones, notices, rushing and non-observation? Why we not seeing? Because it is what merges us with the other person. Fading in the famous two nice eyes. Today, however far we are away from the Russian classics of the past centuries, so we touch them.

Eugene Onegin is a character that we can hardly ever love. No. It is impossible to love him. Ego-centric and too vain, too self-confident. Bonvivan, who lightly rejects love and remains indifferent when he hurts. And his Tatiana, his ... it is Pushkin's creation, which I do not know if it is possible today. A woman who is still and quietly loves her chimera for the rest of her days. The hardest and unpleasant in the world in which we are located is precisely this race of ego and self-esteem. We are all strong. We are all successful. We are all perfect. We eat healthy. We are independent. We live in schedules. And "after a women and after a bus we does not run because the next one comes." Lie. All this is a huge lie masked behind the fake image of the imaginary realization. It is not true that life is short. It's long. Merciless and ruthlessly long. Painful. Get on. Days get stuck, and sometimes it looks as if it's never over. And we're kicking our laughs and worries in the ankles. We unlock panic attacks and repeat "everything will be fine, everything will be fine". And what does Tatiana do? Tatiana does not hide anything anywhere. At least not by herrself. Tatiana gives a lifetime in the name of that unpleasant bouncy who says no. Tatyana wrote letters to him. Tatyana dreamed him. She lives for him. Of course, her life has its paths and turns, but behind it somewhere in the mind and heart remains. And she is not afraid. Do not worry. Because resistance does not always give the result we strive for.

And oftentimes it is meaningless. And today we are maliciously tortured and trying to tear off the "meaningless" feelings of our breasts with our teeth and nails. Because if it's not shared, it makes no sense, right? That's what they say. But they ... they know nothing. They lie. The men don't care for women hearts and do not fall in love with them. We do not plant flowers in our chest. Well ... sometimes it happens. Sometimes, so sometimes. The fear of the icy wind of Russian literature comes from the fact that every fright and all the dark spots in the minds of the characters are so up to date and so true today. If with Eugene the self-esteem, the ego and the vanity are leading, then with the special person N. from the love novel "Asya" of Turgenev is the only one ... yes, the good old fear. This eternal master of ours, without which one day never passes.

Oh, a look of a woman who love, who will describe you? They beg, these eyes, they trusted, they asked, they gave themselves up ... I could not resist their charm.

Again, the two proverbial nice eyes. Eye-ocean. Deep waters where everyone can be lost, drowned. To die. With all our modern anxieties and concerns today, the idea of eternity frightens us, does it? And that little Asya at Turgenev fell in love. Without limits. No scare. No shade of hesitation. He dropped his hands in the air and flew down to the bottom of the emotional abyss. Her heart in love looked around for someone to touch and embrace. With your soul and this little in love mind. But what does N? Why is he running away? If Eugene had followed his ego, then N. let go of his fears. He sees the two eyes in love and his chest tightens in the loop of eternity. Take a step back. Then one more. Then he runs. And with these steps back, he destroys the life of the poor Asya, he also destroys himself. Because, in fact ... actually ... it was always love. Love that is found, and then lost somewhere. Caught in its impossible eternity. How easily and nicely we could live if we rarely attach great importance. If we are able to look at what is hidden inside ... Because as much as we kick it in our ankles, no matter how we try to drink it, smoke and ignore it ... it is there. And if it's forever ... it's not scary. It is terrible if the question "What would happen if ..."

"The Russian soul is a dark place" - Dosteovsky ...
And how this darkness pulls me :) :) ....
Very beautifully analysed and expressed. @godflesh.
"it was always love. Love that is found, and then lost somewhere. Caught in its impossible eternity.".... Always ...

Hey :) I am glad to see you again :)

The Russian soul is apocalyptic and is in extremes, there is no balance. That's a little scary for me, but looking at the distance of the Russian soul, you can only admire it. :)

You couldn't have said it better. Every word is true. Russian soul to me is a product of extreme conditions of survival . Extreme weather and extreme regimes. It is an orphaned soul that has seen the abyss and doesn't want to experience it, yet knows it is there. It hides its vulnerability behind the iron curtain of intellect. It attacks before being attacked. It leaves you before you leave him. Russian soul is a dark place. It pulls me hard and scares me too. ... :)

I too am glad to come here. :) . It is always a pleasure to read your writing . Wish you lots of success, @godflesh :)

nice man!

Thanks :)

oh, I love Dostoevsky! and I just can't stop re-reading his books, 21st century and still relevant, still interesting :)

I am sure you will enjoy Kuprin!
