Happy in Solitude

I want you to be happy. Even when I'm alone.
She scribbled on a sheet of paper she'd found in her clutch. His two black eyeballs moved around, reading his writings over and over again. As if the words on the paper were a vocabulary he had never learned before.
Her red lips meronanya smile weakly. It's been a long time since he last had 'happy', to the point that he had forgotten the meaning of the word.

A tear fell from her eyes, moistening a light green dress that covered her body from shoulder to knee. She hurriedly wiped it away, afraid the teardrops were caught by dozens of pairs of eyes around her. Should not. No one should know he was crying in the happy day of his good friend.

His head was raised to the ceiling of the room decorated by a giant crystal chandelier. His breath that had hunted slowly back to normal. Both eyes closed, enjoying the crowd around which buried the loneliness in his heart.

Someone tapped the open part of his shoulder. Her hand spontaneously squeezed the paper she had written before opening her eyes wide. His head was turned to the right, intent on seeing who patted him.
The woman's body tightened as soon as she saw someone wearing the right dress. Knee-length dress is light green.

"The show is about to start." The figure smiled. Then use his index finger to point to the front.
The woman was surprised not to play. His words seemed clogged in his throat, realizing not only the dress they wore the same. "You ..." The woman's voice returned, but it was too late. All the lights in the room were turned off, leaving some spotlights directed at the red carpet that stretched from the entrance of the room. In the dark and the crowd, the woman loses the figure that talks to her.

Several times a pair of women's eyes round the room, but no longer did he find the figure. Finally, the woman decided that her thoughts were just rambling. That the touch and speech of the figure only happens in his head.

Her eyes focused on the crowds lining the sides of the red carpet. The men began clapping excitedly, arousing the party's festivity.
The woman turned around and found the entrance to the room now wide open. They arrived, the woman murmured to herself. He rose from a chair covered with white cloth. Her feet went slowly, toward the throng of people still clapping.

At that moment, the woman saw the sight that made the people clap their hands. A man and woman holding hands. Wearing the best black tuxedo and long white dress, walking on the red carpet. The figure of both and shiny, beating the luster of jewelry worn by the woman. The man looks sturdy and the woman looks elegant. Their performance is so perfect, so worthy to be mentioned as the star of this wedding.

The woman just stared at the couple who would walk past her in a moment. His hands clasped tightly around his clutch, not clapping his hands like everyone else. Because he was afraid. Fear of tears would drip back if he forced himself to look happier from now on.
When the couple finally walked past him, for a moment he felt cared for. By the bridal couple's eyes, who accidentally caught her figure. The woman's breath was stifled as he smiled at her. Give it a big smile with a dimple on the right. The smile the woman had seen closely, as her hand was in his grasp.

The evening event was fast after the newlywed couple appeared. The opening of the MC, the prayers of the bride's parents, and the short kiss between the bride and groom couple. Now it's time for the invited guests to enjoy the food that has been provided. Which also means, it's time for the couple to go around, greet the invited guests who attended their event.
The lady did the best she could to avoid them. Until at some point he had to stop doing it. Because his name has been called by the bridegroom up to three times.
"Nadia!"
Her lips chanted a brief suggestion for herself, before turning around and eyeing the couple.
"Rano! Congratulations, yes! "The woman called the groom's name. A furious smile she forced to get out while she was watching them.
The couple smiled back at her. Then, Rano began to speak. The man introduced the figure of Nadia to his wife.
"Diamond, this is Nadia. My best friend in college first. "Rano gave an answer to his wife's curious look. Diamond nodded his head as he extended his hand to Nadia.
"So, you are Nadia? Former Rano first? "

There was a sense of discomfort when Intan preferred to categorize Nadia as a former Rano, not as a 'good friend in college' as Rano said. A glance at Nadia glanced at Rano. Intends to ask the man who answers Diamond questions. But he was too busy greeting other people to catch the signal Nadia gave.
"That's right," Nadia stirred up her rigid lips, "but I'd rather be called Rano's friend."
The pain was on Nadia's chest. He has lied to himself. Because, Nadia never feel happy when he 'only' a friend of Rano. Even until this moment, where Rano has officially belonged to another woman.

After hearing her answer, Intan's attitude toward him became more friendly. He even asked Nadia to stay there until the end of the show.
"Later at the end of the show, there is a throwing portion of a bridal bouquet. You go along, Nad, there's quite a gift, "said Diamond.
Rano joked. "Yes, Nad, if I had not been the groom, I would have come for the prize."
The couple laughed together. But not with Nadia. He just nodded his head in affirmation of their invitation.
Fortunately, soon Rano and Intan said goodbye to Nadia. Because there are still some invited guests of the parents that they are obliged to greet, they complained together.

Before leaving to leave Nadia, Rano reviewed his best smile for the woman. The smile that indicated the man was happy that Nadia was willing to attend her wedding. A sincere smile, which can even be felt from the eyes of the man.
However, that sincere smile was not able to reach the wound in Nadia's heart. Can not teach him the lost meanings of his life. The thing Nadia does not realize is what she needs, more than Rano's return to love.

Nadia is hiding in the toilet. To vomit the contents of his stomach churned along with his feelings. The stomach produces excess acid, hurt the stomach wall. Just as his heart produces excessive sadness, hurt every inch of his heart.
After the nausea from her stomach disappears, Nadia realizes that her tears come flowing out with her bowels. The powder and mascara on her face disappeared with the flow of water.
Nadia stepped out of the toilet to the sink. Her hands dug into her clutch, pulled out every makeup kit she was carrying. Powder, lipstick, and ... Inadvertently Nadia pulls out a clump of paper that feels strange to her. Nadia examined the lump of paper and found that it was the paper she had written before the show began.

I want you to be happy. Even when I'm alone.
