Why cats purr?

Just as we Humans smile,the dogs also wag their tails and also cats purr. ..All of us really often do show our contentment in some different ways..

So it is not actually really surprising that when your cat is actually curled up beside you, or you are actually stroking them, they do express their actual feelings by purring. ... the purring may actually be a self-comforting behaviour....
