It may be about his past relationship but many can relate to this song of him.

But you will come to your senses that still hoping would be vain because it will not go back to the way it was before. You'll get tired of listening to those sad songs, however you still can't stop playing them.

Ne-Yo is among those few artists who scored a number one hit with their debut. So Sick went number 1 in America, based from Billboard. It cemented him to superstardom status then, and it propelled the album to number 1 too. In United Kingdom, it also became a number 1 hit, as reported by OCC. It's music video was released when YouTube is still on progress with popularity, and it received more than 170 million views.
