Dandelion is so versatiled going through its transformation from yellow flower to white puff. One day the field looks like yellow carpet and the next it turns white. But how it changes not only in colour but completely? When the flower head dries out, the bracts that surrounded the flower head curve backwards creating the white fluffy ball. It consists of small umbrellas (they seem umbrellas to me, whereas they are called parachutes) carring the seeds. Matured seeds disperse by the wind gliding in the air.
