MacroPhotography - Échium

This is my entry for #Macrophotography.

This photo shows a plant called a bruise, or Échium. This plant is originally from Australia, but it came to Moldova. I think that earlier it was not familiar with frosts, but, in Moldova, where there are very strong frosts, it caught on.

I took this picture on the 30th of October, 2018. At this time, all the wildflowers have completed the flowering cycle. But a few days was warm. As a result of this, the plants are lost in time. many field herbs bloomed again. This plant is no exception.

You see drops of dew on the petals and stamens of this flower. The flower is beautiful, and the plant itself, it is poisonous and very strong. This is the case when you need to be vigilant and do not pick wildflowers for a bouquet. On your hands may remain toxic milky juice. Do not play games with your health.

But, what can not be torn down and stored for memory, it can be photographed. This flower can be called a work of art.

But, despite the fact that this plant is poisonous, it is loved by bees. This plant is very good honey plant. We can safely say that in every gram of honey that is produced in Moldova there is a share of pollen and nectar of this plant.
