I've actually been avoiding posting about @magicdice because it does come across as slightly shilly, I know.
But a while back I was placing bets on the platform and acquired a significant amount of MAGIC tokens, which is essentially a stake in the app. At the time, I didn't think much of it, because they were just empty tokens.
But today...
Within one day of the token dividends being live, I've already had a payout of 0.114 STEEM. That works out at nearly one full steem in dividends, every week, forever! In the future, I'll also be able to sell these tokens for market value.
The significance of tokenisation to gambling is absolutely massive because previously, you'd play in a casino, you'd maybe get some free drinks for signing up, a couple of match plays, you'd get waited on. But you'd never get reimbursed for your losses. But with platforms like magic dice, your losses are heavily suppressed by giving you a stake (and a cut of the profits).
How to get MAGIC tokens?
The easiest way to earn tokens is by playing. For every STEEM wagered, you will receive 25 MAGIC tokens. The distribution rate will be halved every time 5% of the tokens have been issued.
I'd recommend heading over to magic-dice.com placing some bets soon since only 0.4% more of the tokens need to be distributed before the distribution rate is cut in half from 25 to 12.5 MAGIC per STEEM wagered.
