How would you setup MajorNEWS.com? (2 Steem-bounty)
Hi, this is a new account owned by @WizarDave.
I own MajorNEWS.com, which I think is an excellent domain name.
I thought it should have it's own Steemit account.
- I would like to create a Steem Blockchain connected site to reward anyone who helps us crowdsource MajorNEWS from around the world.
- If you don't realize we need a new paradigm when it comes to "news," you must be totally asleep. Only 4 or 5 major corporations own over 90% of the media outlets. It seems their main job is not to report the news, but to brainwash everyone into believing what they say is news.
- I have 1000+ ideas about how this could work, but would like to hear your ideas.

sounds like a good idea.
How are you going to get original data/facts?
Everything today is filtered thru local news or AP/UPI.
There are some things that could be verified by local people.
And that system would only work for real world news.
you might consider setting up your own news organization...with reporters and everything.
Like that jones guy did. (keep up with the jones?)

As far as funding is concerned. I think you might want to look up Leader Technologies as if they are paid by the U.S, they have obligated themselves to invest in a new News infrastructure, which if you think about it is what you are talking about.

Setting up with blockchain is a nice idea.
The idea that majornews.com is about news alone won't that make it difficult for it to survive in the blockchain
I think the blockchain is perfect for news. Time and date stamped info can be saved. This can't later be denied. Numerous times I've seen MSM say they didn't say something, when in fact, I know they did...
