Flite Test: FPV on the Ultra Cheap
Hey all. I recently came across a post by @themarkymark Get awesome Raspberry Pi ideas and projects for free. I thought to myself
These kinds of posts are pretty common. Everyone on the planet knows about Raspberry Pi (even those without electricity). Are there any cool topics out there people might be less in the know about for DIY projects?
It hit me. Just last year, Steam released a drone simulator and drone sports sponsors began recruiting directly from tournament winners in the game. Drone sports are really starting to take off (pun intended). Even still, it is pretty tough to get into drone flying. The only real drones to get experience with are pretty pricey. I happen to know of a STEM sponsoring outfit that can help your kid get into FPV pretty easily.
Enter FliteTest
FliteTest is a group that is educationally minded towards FPVs. Sure, they sell stuff, but most of what they do is outreach and education.
