Little Tikes, or Little Tykes?

I ask because I remember it as "Little Tykes." It has always been "Little Tikes."

Out of curiosity, I typed both into my word processing programs to see how they compare. If you type these into a word processor with automatic spell-check, Tikes registers as a misspell, but Tykes does not. "Tyke" is actually a word with it's own definition. Tikes is specific to the brand alone. Many brands are simply not in every word processor’s database. That could be all there is to it. The dictionary for the word processors show the word, not the brand name.

Of the following list (amusingly), Steemit is the only one NOT in Steemit's dictionary:

Microsoft
Scrivener
Steemit
YouTube
Mozilla
Firefox
Linux

I've included an image showing how many are in Scrivener's dictionary.

Again, none of this is conclusive, but it sure is interesting to see what shows up where. Anyone else remember it as "Tykes?"

Thanks to monebags73 for his post bringing this up. You can find him here:
