Great Idea! This year im trying out shopping trolleys, well shopping basket thingys actually!
Fabric or cloth pots in my opinion are the way to go. And if you can find cloth bags that are large enough to hold the soil it doesn't matter what the were repurposed from. Also you can reuse them until the stitching gives out.
Can we all just take a moment however to pivot to the plants in the photo. That's a serious amount of defoliation. It's hard to tell how large the bud sites are. Not throwing shade here (mind the bad pun).
Do you see any of the plants reacting negatively to that much stress? Also what do you see in finished product? More popcorn buds vs. Large colas?

This whole grow was stressed I opened up the room and lost too much light and a gifted clone gifted me mites .
