FDA Seeks Public Comment on Marijuana Rescheduling
Well, it finally has come to pass. The FDA is now seeking justification to reclassify Marijuana and stop treating nations with legal marijuana industries as enemies of the state.

It's a short step, but one step further. Virginia continues to agitate for Federal changes to drug scheduling, but remember that the Constitution and the TREATIES of the United States are supreme law. If a domestic law conflicts with a treaty, the treaty will govern. The United States signing a treaty to import legal marijuana from, say, Israel, or somewhere, would effectively delete all Federal laws and raise a 10th Amendment issue for all remaining states with laws criminalizing Marijuana possession. There are 29 states with some form of Marijuana legalization, at the time of publication.

It's becoming more and more inevitable. The Southern Block is slowly falling to pressure and Arkansas will be a huge wedge into the block. Virginia has been agitating for Federal change for quite some time. All things come to those who wait, but calling your congressman, submitting comments in favor, and being active do not hurt your chances.
