good morning mario, they hate silver because of its intrinsic value, and mostly because it is the real English money for over 1400 years! and its freedom for its anglo saxon warriors which it held and some still hold today, have good day and thank you for your knowledge as usual my friend :)
Hi Andrew, Thank you for waking me up to the ancient history of Britain and Wessex. I don't know if you have watched the Last Kingdom. I've just finished watching the 3 seasons and really enjoyed it. A lot of action, silver, and history. As you said unless one had silver and land one could not raise an army!
