Investors and the Public Are Being Lied To About Inflation.
In this report, I cover the early market action from London on Wednesday, October 10th, 2018. I look briefly at the precious metals, the stock market, the dollar, the bond market, and the oil price.
Today I look at how the powers that be and even academia for that matter have corrupted the definition of the word inflation in order to keep investors and the general public ignorant of the massive transfer of wealth that occurs in a fiat money inflation system through the debasement of the currency.
I show how back in the 1970s and early 1980s inflation was defined as an abnormal increase in the volume of money and credit while nowadays we are led to believe that price index measures like the CPI or PCE are actually inflation and that it is a good thing to have 2% inflation!
My conclusion is that eventually, this charade of pretending there is no inflation in the system will be exposed as people and investors wake up to the big inflation lie. When that happens financial or paper asset values will plummet relative to hard or tangible assets.
