I am Mwanjo Ernest and i have been on steemit since April this year 2018, and like most people, i joined steemit because I was told that i could make money in cryptocurrencies simple by blogging or better still doing what i was already doing on Facebook and other social media networks. ..
But after several post on steemit, i began to realize that there was much more to it than that.

I first thought I needed to get better in my writing and formating on steemit.
I learned from the best and i started writing the kind of posts that the top earners were writing in design and story quality, rich in content and value, but guess what, i still did not make dollars.

Then release that some popular guys were doing contest and developing great relationships with newbies. There by creating a private army of voters in their communities. Sounded great, i did all that but didn't really make any money.

I found automated systems and bots. Tried that, spent a lot of money but still did not make any money.
Used resteem services again and again but still did not make any money.
The bots were a bit interesting since i had a few rounds where i made over 200% profit but i needed those types of returns regularly in other to make it sustainable. But since on average i made 10% to 30% returns on investments, i ended up lossing all the money i invested in steem or SBD as they all converted steem power which can not be withdrawn easily. So no matter how much steem or steem backed dollars i invested month in and month out i had no steem or steem backed dollars to withdraw at the end of the month as all eventually turned to steem power.

I almost got completely discouraged then i found affiliate marketing and noticed that i could get affiliate links and put them in my post on steemit so that anyone reading my posts could click on the links that interest them and get the items that they liked and i will receive a commission from the product vendors.

Click bank is marketplace platform on which you can sell your digital products. I know that there are many great authors on steemit. You could use the articles you posted on steemit which are related to the same subject matter and compile them into an eBook and sell it on click bank. affiliates will help you sell it and you will only have to promise they a share of the sales in the form of commissions. maybe i should make a full post about selling on digital products on click bank.
