Be Single And Happy!
Life is in phases and every phase of one's life has it's own importance, uniqueness and purpose. Don't try to jump a phase of your life because you are after the next phase of life and become too comfortable with your current phase of life when you ought to be in the next phase of your life.
Being single or better put it "yet to be married" is a phase of one's life which is usually associated with the youths and even teenagers as well. Singlehood is a good period because it gives you so much opportunity to plan for your tomorrow. Don't be in a hurry to get married because you might end up with a wrong person. Be that single with a difference.

Don't rush out of singlehood with the wrong reasons in mind for getting married as many are doing today and that is the reason we see so many break up in marriages today. Don't marry because;
- You are tired of being single
- Your parents want grandchildren
- Your mates are married
- You want a sex mate
- You want a woman in your arms or a man in your arms.
But get married married on the basis of you understanding what marriage is all about and you have seen the need for a life partner who can help you achieve your dreams in life. It is called life partner, implying you need to have a life before looking for someone who will partner with that your life. You are not meant to be a liability partner but a partner that can support life and one's existence.

Don't be in a hurry to leave singlehood because it is never a crime to be a single. That your mates are married long before you does not mean you are an unfortunate person in life.

Enjoy the freedom and every good opportunity that comes with being single. Sit down and discover the potentials in you.

Yes I understand perfectly well that you are long overdue for marriage but certain factors has hindered you from getting married. That is not enough reason to be moving around with a moody face and like a defeated warrior. Move on with your life, improve on your skills, engage your life in meaningful ventures rather than expressing a pitiful state. My friend be single and happier than even those who are married. Marriage is not the highest achievement in this life.
agree.. as long as you don't step on anyone's toes, it's all good. getting married and cheating in the end, is not going to end good in any way.
.. or stay single, until you find the right partner.

Thanks for the advice .many people believe that marriage is the ultimate and they rush into it without proper knowledge of what they are going into and within a short time the will be filled with regrats .

I would not recommend that anyone remain single for the sake of being single, nor would I recommend anyone get married for the sake of getting married.
Discover what you value most in life, create a personal Mission Statement and live your life accordingly.
If you do that it will be easier to determine if getting married is right for you. It can also help you answer other questions like "when", "who", etc. if you believe that marriage is a good decision.

Well, we're not single, we're not married neither, we're enjoying life together 😄
We even were part of each other singlehood for about 4 years, until we realized we had to be together for other 3 years and so on 😁
The key is to enjoy life!
I have one dear friend who was married, had one child and then divorced. She got back together with the same man and now they are life partners this time - and just had their second child. They have no plans on ever getting married. It is possible to find a life partner and not be married too! Great advice and I really enjoy your writing. :)

This is great advice @inspiredgideon1.. I have seen so many times people get married for the wrong reasons and in the end never works out... and kids are usually involved. I myself have been married for almost 21 years and he has been my partner in life and my partner in crime. We have our ups and downs like everyone does but its how we face those challenges that matters. I agree with you 100% ... being single isn't a bad thing at all.. and you must be complete in yourself instead of thinking that someone else can complete you.. thanks for sharing this!!
