The First Grand Wedding in Our Church - A Marriage from the Lord

THE WEDDING, October last year, our Pastor recieved a private message from a guy named JF from Gabon and informed her that he plans to come to the Philippines to be engaged with Liezl and marry her. But to our pastor, it seemed to be a very abrupt and a hasty decision to which she replied,

"Do not be in a hurry JF, we do not know you very well yet but we will stand with you and Liezl in PRAYER."

JF and Liezl gave each other an intimate hug the moment they saw each other on the aisle. Such a heart-melting sight.

When our Pastor met him in person, she saw the fruits of the Holy Spirit in him being a man of patience, integrity, compassion, love and faith. And so without any second thoughts, the whole church blessed them. We were all very excited for this is the first wedding to happen in our church. Everybody made an effort to make the wedding all beautiful and all glorifying to God.

The moments to be husband and wife JF and Liezl worship God first before they exchange vows at the altar of the Lord. They're passion to God overwhelm them in their most special day.

Our Pastor was in bahrain when the Lord gave her the message for their wedding.

The love story of Isaac and Rebekah in Genesis 24.

This talks about a story of marriage and love, through revelation and fervent prayers. Its very clear that the Lord arranges marriages and when He does its always perfect and pure.

JF and his bestfriend Cynthia from Gabon standing with him in this another chapter of his life. She was really into the wedding of her bestfriend that tears kept falling on her face and even kissing Liezl often the moment she walked on the aisle. Such a supportive bestfriend right?

The prayerful man from Gabon, in sub-saharan africa prayed (Genesis 24:63). He was honest with God with his feelings and told the Lord that nobody loves him but the Lord replied, "Because you are looking for a human love and not contented with my love for you."He asked for forgiveness and the Lord told him, "Great thing is about to happen". Again he prayed and he was given Isaiah 61. JF said, from that day on, the Lord guided his every step in finding his wife, Liezl.

The wife, a very simple girl with simple thoughts in her simple world trying to find someone's love. When she met JF and was asked the question, "Do you want to marry him? without any hesitation she said 'yes'. When rebekah was asked "will you go with this man?" she said, "I will go." (Genesis 24:58)

And the great day came and JF married Liezl. She became his wife, and he loves her. (Genesis 24: 67).

The couple's surrounded by pastors and church leaders blessing them a happy marriage. They spoke life, abundance, peace, love and joy upon them in front of the congregation.

They carefully listen to the word of the Lord when it comes to His instructions to a married life. You can really see in their eyes that the Lord is really the center of their marriage, for which they believe is the reason why their relationship will endure forever.

JF and Liezl exchanging vows and rings in front of the congregation to all of our delight. Liezl was quite shaking upon doing it. Hahaha.

Liezl's family who came all the way from the province to attend and support the special day of their only daughter.

The husband and wife's spiritual advisers that will guide and oversee them in this journey of their life. And I tell you folks they were all really into them, giving them a gift of a house and lot.

We as the "bestmen" dedicated them a song using our instrument. And the song we sang expresses enduring and intimate love to each other.

While the ladies on the other hand played skillfully their instruments for the couple also, using harps, flutes and stringed instruments.

The couple's astounding wedding cake which costs 100 sbd. But above all its the amount of love they have for each other matters the most.

And ofcourse, the orchestra dedicated them songs during the reception time. They serenade the couple and the guests in this lovely moments together.

The couple had a grand photoshoot with the lads and the ladies projecting a great act. This must be fulfilling to JF kissing Liezl in this perfect moment.

Many cried during the wedding ceremony because we witnessed a pure and innocent love between JF and Liezl.

All glory and honor unto the Lord Jesus who has joined them together as husband and wife. Amen!
